In this lecture I describe how a direct connection to material can lead innovation and benefit the digital model through movement. I will describe a way of making digital sculpture that that directly originates from an experienced place through the blended interaction of mind, body, clay, and movement tracking technologies. The projects that I will describe are based at Grymsdyke Farm, EKWC in the Netherlands and my home studio in the UK.
