To Perform Body 2025 wishes to discuss the role of the practitioner in defining specific artistic perspectives and understandings. Through the concept of somaesthetics, we ask our guests to contribute to the conversation on how an understanding of somaesthetics can be defined and implemented within an artistic field. The aim is to increase interest in the ability of craft and art to inform the emergence of complexity in processes that are rarely made visible.

About the event
To Perform Body 2025 is the ninth seminar in the series by the program Textile-Body-Space at HDK–Valand Campus Steneby. This year the seminar is supported by the University of Gothenburg HDK–Valand, Göteborgs Slöjdförening, Dals Långeds utvecklingsråd and Stiftelsen Stenebyskolan.
