Liv Medböe
Liv Midbøe´s work takes place in the intersection between concept, process and material. Her background is within ceramics but she has always worked with different techniques as drawing, embroidery, sculpture and installation. Her practice has a phenomenological approach; connecting disparate resources, she explores different subjects of matter, often concerning heritage, origin and identity. The works contain layers of symbols and references. She also take interest in spatial issues which have resulted in several pieces concerning human relation to space.
